Event Details
The race will start at Sozo Trading Co. and end 3.1 miles away at Avondale Brewery.
This event is a fun, family friendly experience; runners & walkers of all ages, strollers and dogs are welcome. Free donuts after the race, corn hole & inflatables for the kids!
Stick around after the race! The Sozo Children's Choir will hold a short performance at Avondale Brewery on the big stage after the race and awards have been completed!

Our Reason
Sozo Children was born out of an immediate need to rescue 17 children from suffering circumstances in Uganda. For 11 years, we’ve worked to empower vulnerable children to become thriving leaders for Jesus Christ. We currently provide for 115 children—empowering, discipling and nurturing them through a Christ-centered continuum of care.
Through our vision of seeing All Children Thriving, All Communities Transformed, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where vulnerable children are given the opportunity to develop to their full God-given potential. And we build meaningful relationships with local communities to share the love of Christ through discipleship, health, life-skills training and entrepreneurship.
