We are seeking an Events Lead who will steward these moments with excellence, integrity, and a heart aligned with our mission.
This role is responsible for the end-to-end, independent execution of all approved fundraising and engagement events for
Sozo Children and Sozo Trading Co. The Events Lead ensures that every detail — from planning to post-event follow-up —
reflects operational excellence, thoughtful hospitality, and Christ-centered care.
What You’ll Do
- Own full execution of fundraising and engagement events from concept to completion.
- Build and manage detailed timelines, workflows, and logistics with disciplined follow-through.
- Coordinate venues, vendors, sponsors, speakers, and volunteers with clarity and care.
- Create welcoming, relational environments that reflect Sozo’s mission and values.
- Steward event budgets responsibly and proactively.
- Lead post-event debriefs that strengthen systems and improve future execution.
Success in this role looks like events that run smoothly without leadership rescue, donors and guests who feel genuinely valued and well cared for,
and processes that continually improve over time.
Who You Are
- Demonstrates strong personal integrity and alignment with Sozo Children’s Statement of Faith.
- Thrives on ownership, structure, and accountability.
- Brings warmth, steadiness, and grace into high-demand environments.
- Is calm under pressure and proactive in problem-solving.
- Has at least 5 years of experience planning and executing successful events.
- Is willing to support evening or occasional weekend events as needed.
You understand that hospitality is ministry. You recognize that operational excellence honors both our donors and the children we serve.
And you are motivated not simply by producing events — but by advancing Kingdom impact.
